| Abstract: | Cynometroxylon holdenii (Gupta) Prakash and Bande (1980) is described for the first time from Builum area situated near North Hlimen, Kolasib District, Mizoram and belongs to the Tipam Group of Late Miocene in age. Its occurrence indicates warm and humid climate in the region during the deposition of the sediments. |
