| Abstract: | The paper describes the anatomical details of two new species of Terminalioxylon, T. mortandrense
and T. Sahnii, collected from the Tertiary beds of
South Arcot. The structure of these fossil woods
shows close resemblances with those of the living
genus Terminalia. |
