Abstract: The petrified wood of Dryoxylon mohgaoense Rode is redescribed here giving further information as regards its structure and affinities. The wood of D. mohgaoense is nearly related to family Myrtaceae and shows a close relationship with the flowers of Sahnipushpam glandulosum Prakash (1955). The flower Sahnipushpam glandulosum and the wood Dryoxylon mohgaoense most probably belong to one and the same species.
