Title: Occurrence of Pseudobornia Northorst in Alaska
Authors: Mamay, Sergius H.
Issue Date: 1962
Citation: Palaeobotanist (1962) 11(1,2): 19-22
Abstract: A small collection of fossil plants from northeastern Alaska contains Pseudobornia ursina Nathorst, which aids in the differentiation of age of rocks in a difficult stratigraphic section. This is not only the first occurrence of Pseudobornia in the western hemisphere, but also the first verifiable occurrence since the original discovery of Pseudobornia on Bear Island.
