Title: Miospore assemblage pattern in the microlithotypes of Jura coals

Abstract: This paper deals with palynological studies of Jura Coals in conjunction with petrographic structure. The morphographic and statistical analyses of maceral and miospores indicate distinct petrographic and miospore assemblage pattern. The presence of zonations in the coal bed recognizable by palyno-petrographic patterns not only suggest sequential formation of Jura Coals but also show an intimate relation between certain microlithotypes and miospores such as Durite and Densosporiles and probably Vitrite and Clarite with monolete miospores.
