Abstract: | Based on informations available, through early expeditions since the early half of the nineteenth century, on the Central Asian mountain massifs the present document is aimed towards depicting the significance of these poorly known regions in a larger framework of palaeogeography and accretion of the Indian and Peri-Gondwanian microcontinents with the Asian landmass. |
